Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a hard working, motivated, and customer service minded Application Administrator to help administer Tungsten Kofax, IBM Content Navigator, setup and troubleshoot document scanners, and other products for the Department of Workforce Services (DWS).
The chosen candidate will support the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) in all aspects of receiving, uploading, processing, and storing documents provided by customers.
The maintenance, support, upgrade, and troubleshooting of the Kofax and Content Navigator applications, including database storage and interconnections, and scanner maintenance/troubleshooting, are critical to the mission and vision of DWS.
This job may be filled at either of the levels listed below. (Rate as listed or in accordance with DHRM Rules for current state employees.)

IBM Content Manager - Environment, software familiarity and functionality
Tungsten Kofax - image controls, document flow, development environment
Scanners (Fujitsu) configuration, scanner driver installation
DB2 - database environment, SQL, Stored procedures, Cognos
Database reporting - ex: Oracle Apex programming, IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports, APEX
Oracle - PLSQL, DB environment
Microsoft products - Windows 7, 10, 11, Office (Visio, Word, Excel)
Microsoft SQL DB - stored procedures, environment,
Networking - TCP/IP environment, troubleshooting (nmap, ipconfig, addressing and subnetting)
Programming - MicroSoft .NET, C#, Java (IntelliJ)
Git - working within the environment - Github, Visual Studio git integration
Visual Studio itself with plugins for GIT, NuGet, jenkins
ServiceNow - Working, assigning, and creating tickets
Example of Duties
Design, implement, test and maintain software using appropriate methodology and techniques
Update and expand existing programs utilizing .NET, C#,
Troubleshoot issues with network connectivity, database diagnosis
Configure third party software using provided interfaces and tools
Analyze and identify problems or potential problem areas, recommend solutions
Plan, prioritize and organize time and workload projects in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines
Contribute to our team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Familiarity with Service-Now issue tracking would be a benefit
Work with vendors and contractors designing and implementing solutions
Documenting workflows and processes
Knowledgeable with the following:
IBM Content Manager and DB2 database
Tungsten Kofax and its image capturing software and data workflow
MS SQL and Oracle Database
Relational database environments
Github version control software
.NET Framework using Visual Studio
Windows 10-11 operating systems
Amazon Cloud Practitioner and Web Services
Powershell, C#, Visual Basic, .NET
Setting up and working scanners (Fujitsu models)
Basic networking skills
Documentation skills (Confluence, Jira, Word, Lucid, Code documentation)
Applicable maintenance methods and techniques
Capable of coordinating activities or tasks with individuals, groups and/or organization(s). Work with others in a customer friendly environment.
Communicate with others in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
Able to provide troubleshooting methodologies and techniques
