WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: · Determining the scope and focus of investigations, including identifying subjects and targets.
· Analyzing investigative leads and evidence to support administrative cases. · Preparing written investigative reports and case materials for presentation to management officials.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Investigator, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Assistant Secretary for Administration to optimize business results and customer experience by: Planning and conducting independent administrative investigations into allegations of employee misconduct and violations of law, regulation, policy, and negotiated labor agreements, defining issues and identifying relevant parties.
Collecting, preserving, and analyzing documentary, electronic, and testimonial evidence; resolves conflicting information; and applies applicable statutes, regulations, and policies to determine findings and evidentiary sufficiency.
Preparing detailed Reports of Investigation and authoritative written recommendations presenting findings of fact supported by evidence for management review and action.
