This position serves as a Property Manager in the Material Management Division of the Logistics Service in the VA Health Care System responsible for the inventory and lifecycle management of all non-expendable (NX) equipment in the assigned area(s).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-09: One (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position.
Qualifying specialized experience includes: maintaining inventory control records in an automated system; managing a property management program and determining the means and methods to resolve issues and improve operations; determining required sources of equipment, purchase card program and simplified acquisition procedures; researching and analyzing information to include tracing sequences of inventory management transactions; and advising on the management, control and accountability of equipment in use.

~OR~ Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.

Major Duties:
Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Lifecycle Management: Responsible for the lifecycle management of non-expendable assets; conducts short, mid and long-term advanced planning; analyzes data; supports customers and acquisition personnel in developing requirements, utilizing mandatory sources and standardization sources; and corresponds with procurement officials and other stakeholders to resolve issues Inventory Management and Control: Responsible for the management and control of NX equipment assets; serves as the point of contact for the coordination of material support and resolution of logistic problems; conducts forecasting and quantitative analysis; conducts spot checks; and complies with special requirements for firearms, ammunition and sensitive equipment Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized.
