Full Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in researching, preparing, coordinating, and drafting applicable administrative rules sets under the jurisdiction of the bureau. This includes researching other states’ standards and national professional and care standards as well as gathering input from various Michigan professional and provider associations. Rules sets include revising the nurse aide or homes for the aged rules sets or creating new rules sets for medication aides or birthing centers in accordance with the Public Health Code, 1978 PA 368.
The position is limited to 129 hours per month.

Requirements
Education
Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Bachelors in a healthcare related field and currently pursuing a master’s degree preferred. Strongly prefer completion of courses in research and statistics.
