This role involves leading the design and integration of advanced mission systems for naval aviation, creating frameworks that allow different military services to work together seamlessly in operations.
The job focuses on solving complex technical challenges to improve defense capabilities, especially in maritime environments.
It's ideal for experienced engineers who are experts in systems architecture and passionate about supporting national defense through innovative solutions.
You will serves as a Mission Systems Chief Architect that establishes and executes the architectural framework consistent with Distributed Maritime Operations Concept for the acquisition, development and employment of Naval Aviation capabilities.
This position is in the Mission Systems Group, Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ #1: Subject Matter Expert (SME) in new and varied principles and practices of Mission Systems Architecture development, design, integration, and analysis.
TQ #2: Ability to negotiate complex mission systems solutions with major stakeholders.
