You will serve as the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Chief Engineer. The Secretary of War has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions.
This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.

Ability to lead a diverse, technical and non-technical workforce across a broad spectrum of skill sets and dispersed locations toward meeting NAWCWD, DON, and DOW mission and goals.
Fosters employee development, builds coalitions, enables cooperation and teamwork, facilitates change, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts. TQ 2.
Demonstrated ability in technical leadership in dynamic and complex Science and Technology, and Research and Development programs with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
Engineering experience with responsibility for design, development, system of system engineering, integration, testing, production, delivery, and life cycle engineering for complex systems.
