This job involves working as an engineer for the Navy's air systems team, focusing on designing, managing, and improving aircraft engines and power systems through research, testing, and team coordination.
It supports naval research projects by planning technical requirements and overseeing execution to meet engineering goals.

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, PROPULSION AND POWER ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in aircraft turbine engine engineering; 2) experience in engineering project and program management; 3) experience leading and mentoring teams; 4) experience executing Research, Development, Test and Evaluation projects; 5) knowledge of resource and financial management.
