Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves coordinating efforts across government agencies to promote environmental justice in Colorado, focusing on engaging communities that face higher environmental risks and implementing related programs and policies.
It supports partnerships with local, state, and tribal groups to address issues like water quality and cumulative environmental impacts.

Six (6) years of relevant experience supporting collaborative development or implementation of public policy related to public health, environmental health, environmental justice, environmental law, or a related discipline within state or local government.
A combination of related education in public policy, public administration, public affairs, environmental health, public health, environmental justice, environmental law and/or relevant experience in supporting collaborative development or implementation of public policy related to public health, environmental health, environmental justice, environmental law, or a related discipline within state or local government equal to six (6) years.

Conditions of Employment:
Pursuant to CDPHE policy, a background check is required for all positions at CDPHE.
Experience working within state or local government in Colorado
Working knowledge of Colorado environmental justice policy
Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a broad set of stakeholders
Experience coordinating and/or facilitating cross-functional working groups or other collaborative bodies
Experience conducting public policy analysis and/or developing strategy for public policy implementation.
