Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing intelligence related to political, military, and cyber threats, coordinating with other agencies, and helping protect against cyber intrusions for the U.S.
Marine Corps' cyberspace command.

You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist (Intelligence Analyst) in the Marine Cryptologic Support Battalion (MCSB) of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.
This position is located at Fort Meade, MD.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector..
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and demonstrating operational knowledge of capabilities and accesses of the collection disciplines, strengths and weaknesses of specific technical sensors/platforms, and human sources in area of responsibility; 2) Executing collection using appropriate collection strategies and within the priorities established through the collection management process; 3) Developing networks and builds alliances; collaborating across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals; and, 4) Applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance.
