Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading planning and management for infrastructure and facilities that support new weapons systems in the Navy, working closely with top leaders to ensure everything runs smoothly from design to operation.
It focuses on integrating shore-based support early to cut costs and risks, while coordinating budgets, teams, and projects across military branches.
A good fit would be someone with senior-level experience in defense planning, strong leadership skills, and a knack for strategic problem-solving in complex government environments.
You will serve as an INTEGRATED PRODUCT SUPPORT(WEAPONS SYSTEMS PLANNING) PROGRAM MANAGER in the Strategic Planning Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising senior leadership at the department/enterprise level (e.g.
Flag and General Officers and Senior Executive Service) on facility and infrastructure in support of Weapons Platform acquisitions and organizational management topics, including budget and human capital; (2) Evaluating and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiencies via internal management controls, such as staffing recommendations, spend plans, checklists, performance management and customer satisfaction; (3) Developing internal policies and operating procedures; (4) Developing and delivering detailed internal briefings, executive level briefings, and briefings to other agencies and military services; (5) Managing strategic planning and business process initiatives; (6) Leading cross-functional teams; (7) Providing program/project management, technical oversight and/or development of Infrastructure and facility project planning.
