In this position, you will provide police services and protection to employees, the public, property, facilities, and grounds.
Your work will involve patrolling buildings and grounds by foot or by vehicle, investigating accidents, responding to calls for assistance, and determining the nature of reported emergencies.
You will exercise the duties of a sworn police officer by enforcing laws, rules, and regulations through warnings, citations, and arrests.
Some of your duties will also include directing traffic at public events and at vehicle accident sites, operating patrol vehicles and communications network equipment, and administering first-aid treatment when other emergency personnel are not present.
Additionally, you will participate in training programs to maintain essential job knowledge.
