This job involves leading teams to design, integrate, and upgrade advanced communication and IT systems for the Navy, focusing on secure and reliable networks that support military operations.
It requires providing technical guidance, managing projects from start to finish, and working with leaders and partners to meet mission goals on time and within budget.
A good fit would be an experienced IT professional with a strong background in engineering leadership and defense technology who enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Crisis Response and Interoperable Communications System Branch of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing system engineering direction and technical leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT professionals; 2) Implementing and managing the execution of rapid integration projects involving of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Combat Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, computer networks, IT systems and related A/V and electronic systems; 3) Leading technical innovation and organizational change to adapt with industry growth in technology; 4) Coordinating with strategic leaders and tactical partners in addition to industry to develop immediate and future solutions for the warfighter; 5) Providing technical engineering mentorship and project management direction to subordinates and other professionals.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
