The Controller's Office is looking for highly motivated candidates for the position of Information Technology Manager.
This role is part of the Controller Information Systems Division (CIS) and plays a key role in supporting all related Countywide automated accounting and financial systems.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in management information systems, with particular expertise in implementing system upgrades and deploying new modules for automated accounting systems.
This position requires the ability to analyze, design, test, and implement new or enhanced business processes to improve operational efficiency.
The role also involves working closely with fiscal staff across multiple County departments; developing, implementing, and interpreting administrative policies and procedures; formulating short- and long-term automation strategies; and training, directing, and evaluating assigned personnel.The examination process will consist of an application screening (weight: pass/fail) based on the candidates' application and responses to the supplemental questions. Candidates who pass the application screening will be invited to a panel interview (weight: 100%).
Depending on the number of applicants, an application appraisal of education and experience may be used in place of other examinations or a screening committee may select those applicants whose education and/or experience appear to best meet the needs of the position.
