As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will serve as a senior analyst to the records division on operational programs requiring the application of a wide range of analytical functions related to records programs and contract oversight.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/01/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/01/2026.

GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Ensure contracting quality control measures are identified.

Work consists of a wide range of projects related to the initial review and pre-processing of applications for immigration and citizenship benefits.

Resolves complex policy questions and provides a basis for major decisions that affect activities and operations USCIS wide.

  • Provides oversight of contractors who manage and conduct the initial preparation of applications.
  • Ensures contractor compliance in implementing processes accurately.
  • Recommends and takes actions to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Assists, directs, coordinates, and oversees the research and implementation of programs and procedures used to resolve issues.
  • Develops and conducts briefing presentations, conference materials, and other communications for supervisors and executive management; ensures information provided is accurate and concise.
  • Serves as liaison between USCIS/NBC federal employees and contract personnel.
