Summary

This job involves analyzing immigration benefit processes to improve efficiency, quality, and staffing in a U.S.

government office, while leading teams to meet production goals and ensure data accuracy.

It's a senior role advising district managers on operations and creating reports to support homeland security efforts against fraud.

As an Immigration Services Analyst, senior analyst to District management on mission and operation programs requiring the application of a wide range of analytical functions related to achieving production and quality goals in the processing of immigration benefits; and serves as the primary lead for field office production analyst teams across the district.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/05/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes such as production standards, workloads, and appropriate staffing levels.

Conducting studies and analyzing data of major fi eld functions across program lines and recommending actions to achieve office and/or organizational objectives.

Coordinating with leadership and team members to ensure consistency with agency standards for data governance, data quality, and data integrity.

Creating reports for management on program elements and improving efficiency and accuracy of the programs and data.

  • Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within DISTRICT 34, and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
  • The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
  • Ensures that the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the district-wide field office production analyst teams and integrated into the team's strategies, goal, objectives, work plans and work product.
  • Coordinates with the FDNS Intelligence Research Specialist and the Ops Administrative Analyst to ensure district-wide consistency with USCIS standards for Data Governance, Data Quality Integrity.
  • Articulates and communicates to the field office analyst teams the assignment, project, actionable event, milestones, and/or program issue under review, and deadline for completion.
  • Plans, conducts studies of major field and national functions across organizational lines, i.e. electronic processing of immigrant visa, ELIS implementation, issuance of Notice to Appear, intelligence research reports from FDNS, pending cases EOIR.
  • Verifies data for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness and where appropriate, amending or rejecting work not meeting established standards and meeting performance standards.
