This job is for a senior human resources leader who oversees all HR operations for Navy installations in Hawaii, handling everything from hiring and employee support to policy advice and strategic planning.
It involves guiding top managers on HR matters and ensuring smooth operations across various programs.
A good fit would be someone with extensive HR management experience in a government or large organization setting, who enjoys advising executives and solving complex personnel issues.
You will serve as the Human Resources Director (HRD) and senior advisor for the regional Human Resources Office (HRO) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII providing comprehensive human resources services to all installations and programs.
Services provided include strategic planning, organizational design and structure, recruiting, staffing, classification, employee relations, labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), injury compensation, employees assistance programs, and training.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing, directing, or managing the delivery of civilian federal human resources (HR) services involving one or more of the following functions: staffing and recruitment, position classification, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, oversight of automated personnel information systems, or employee development; ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations; developing, interpreting, or advising senior management on human resource policies and administration; or providing input for the strategic planning of human capital resources for an organization.
