This entry-level human resources assistant role at a US Army base in Wisconsin supports recruitment and staffing by handling job offers, pre-employment checks, paperwork, and new employee orientations.
It's a developmental position that starts with basic administrative tasks and can grow into more advanced HR duties.
A good fit would be someone with some office experience who enjoys organizing details and working with people in a structured government environment.
This position is located with the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) HR Office, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).
Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental) Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing. 2.
Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3.
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
