This entry-level human resources assistant role at a U.S.
Army base in Pennsylvania involves supporting recruitment by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and helping connect qualified candidates with managers.
It's a developmental position that starts with basic administrative tasks and can grow into more advanced HR work.
A good fit would be someone with some office experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computers for everyday tasks.
This position is located at Carlisle Barracks, PA Incentives and Bonuses: Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF2 (Developmental) - Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment functions, such as posting vacancy announcements and rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility.
2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3.
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
