Full Job Description

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT DENVER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using computers and software to perform basic automated functions 2) Preparing reports or briefs to submit to management; 3) Maintaining files, records, or forms.

  • You will serve as an initial reviewer of eligibility for naval service utilizing applicable directives and regulations.
  • You will identify gaps and/or inconsistencies in the application and interview applicants to obtain data needed to complete actions.
  • You will retrieve data from various information sources, both manual and electronic, for use in answering questions, responding to correspondence, or preparing reports or briefings.
  • You will provide advice, instructions, and interpretations regarding applicants to recruiting personnel in the field.
  • You will enter data into an automated system as required.
