Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

You will serve as an HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the USFF HR SERVICES BRANCH, EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a wide range of HR concepts, principles, laws, regulations, and practices.
Experience providing guidance on merit system principles and prohibited personnel practices. Experience coordinating with multiple parties (e.g.
commands, agencies, HROs) to resolve human resources issues, such as pay issues, recruitment, position management. Experience identifying sources of non-competitive candidates (e.g.
reassignment, reinstatement, alternative appointment authorities) to fill vacancies. Experience using HR systems to query, retrieve, and analyze information to complete assignments.
