About the Position: This position serves as a Health Technician (Surgical) at Womack Army Medical Center, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Surgery.
The primary functions is performing scrub and circulating duties across a range of specialties and complexities, providing critical support in routine to trauma cases.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with retrieving and positioning patients for surgical procedures; assembling sterile instruments and equipment based on the surgical procedure; providing supplies during procedures as requested by surgical team.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
