Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-5. Bachelor's degree + some experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting eye care services at a military hospital by helping with patient exams, giving medications, running simple tests, and handling paperwork and scheduling.
It's a hands-on role in a team setting, assisting doctors and nurses with everyday patient needs.

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center, Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network Pacific Rim, San Diego, CA; Directorate of Ophthalmology.
The individual is responsible for providing patient care, supporting diagnostic procedures, patient teachings; and administrative support work in connection with the care and treatment given to patients.
