THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a HEALTH SYSTEMS SPECIALIST-Title 5 OBO, Position Description Number T5810200 and is part of the WI 115 MDG, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
This position is in the Exceptive Service "under the authority for Title V, P.L.
114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)" GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Work that required a knowledge of the basic principles and practices related to the management of a health care delivery system.
Such experience may have been gained as an administrative officer, management analyst, or administrative or clinical program manager or supervisor in a health care delivery system.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-0671-09, you must have 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level.
Candidates must have experience of being progressively responsible, analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field.
Must have experience with program management.
Candidate with education in strength and conditioning specialist and tactical strength and conditioning facilitator through the NCSA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) preferred but not required.
Experience coordinating care and educating members on care plans. Candidates have knowledge of strength and conditioning. Experience running a medical program at an installation. Major Duties:
Manages Health Services activities, including plans and operations, human resource management, and Medical staffing. Oversees medical facility management.
Provides medical management and advisory services that contribute substantially to the plans, policies, decisions, and objectives of senior management.
Provides advice to higher headquarters on impact of medical policy changes concerning unit operations and mission capabilities.
Directs the Medical Group accreditation program and management improvement studies. Directs all Information Managementactivities within the Medical Group.
