About the Position: This position is located at NAS Jacksonville at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

The incumbent will work in the Directorate for Resource Management within the core hours of 6:30am to 4:00pm.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include compiling data from multiple databases to include medical, financial, etc.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Major Duties:

  • Advanced Data Analysis/Consultation: Serving as the lead data expert to consult, research, analyze, and manage complex studies supporting facility planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • You will transform raw data from diverse medical and financial databases into actionable information for leadership.
  • Data Quality Oversight: Providing direct oversight and expert advice for the Data Quality Management program.
  • You will brief the Executive Steering Committee on data health, address all data quality issues, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of healthcare data.
  • Advising on Support Agreements: Leveraging subject matter expertise on Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and Inter-service Support Agreements (ISSAs) to contribute to the command's data quality initiatives.
  • Process /Performance Improvement: Leading efforts to enhance data quality and operational efficiency using Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • You will monitor key performance metrics, identify root causes of system failures, and recommend program adjustments to meet MTF goals.
  • Supervision and Mentorship: Exercising full supervisory responsibilities by assigning work, developing performance standards, managing subordinate staff, and providing guidance, training, and mentorship to data analysts and other staff members.
