This role involves working as a health care technician in Colorado's Mental Health Transitional Living Homes, supporting adults with behavioral health needs in a residential treatment setting by assisting with daily living, monitoring health, and providing basic care.
It's a step-down option from more restrictive facilities to help reduce backlogs in mental health services.
A good fit would be someone compassionate with experience in caregiving or healthcare support, who can handle a team environment in a state-run program.

This position is open to current Colorado residents only.

1 year of direct care experience with clients suffering from SMI
Experience passing medications
Experience with De-Escalation Techniques
Be able to drive a 15-passenger van
Experience dealing with various Mental Health Disorders
Managing a Milieu
Food Preparation/ Food Safety
Previous state employee
QMAP Certified Certification Qualified Medication Administration Personnel. Must be QMAP certified within 6 months of hire.
