The Division of Nursing Care Facilities is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our team and evaluate the compliance of nursing homes with state and federal regulations.

In this position, you will conduct health care surveys in nursing care facilities to determine compliance with federal and state regulations.
Your work will involve gathering and documenting survey data, applying regulations to survey findings, and preparing and providing survey reports.
Investigations and surveys will be completed to fulfill requirements for licensure, re-licensure, and certification under federal, state, or Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
You will write reports on survey and investigation findings and review plans of correction for necessary components to plan follow-up activities with providers as needed.
Your duties will also include functioning as a team leader and planning and coordinating preparation for on-site surveys.
Additionally, you will assist and coach new surveyors by explaining regulations and contributing to evaluating the performance of new surveyors.Travel throughout the state, including overnight trips and frequent travel within Bradford, Cameron, Centre, Clinton, Lycoming, Northumberland, Mifflin, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, and Union counties, is necessary.
You will be required to carry a cell phone and respond to complaints during off-hours.
