Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Three years graphic design experience in marketing, advertising or in a related field.

Ability to prepare layouts, reports, and promotional materials using graphic design and web design computer programs is required.

Strong computer skills to include Adobe Creative Suite, to include InDesign and Photoshop and English grammar are required.

Must possess excellent customer service skills, ability to deliver presentations and facilitate meetings. Knowledge of photography preferred.

The ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 lbs independently and objects over 35 lbs with assistance. Must possess a valid driver¿s license.

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the qualifications above. Major Duties:

Prepares and presents creative concepts and marketing strategies in support of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Quantico special promotions, events, grand openings, and other visual-oriented projects and recurring needs for activities.

Effectively communicates information using software programs to include but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Develops and produces a wide variety of advertising media such as videos and photos within established guidelines to be used on the MCCS Quantico website, social media, movie trailers, and TV system as well for decorative and information purposes within all MCCS facilities.

Works with a full range of digital images and digital video to produce print advertisements, posters, brochures, menus, signage, electronic marquees, direct mail, video, website, and other promotional items as needed.

Uses highly technical printing and production equipment. Uses English grammar skills to write persuasive copy.

Proofreads the work of self and others for spelling, correct grammar usage, punctuation, and other errors before submitting for approval.

Generates inter-office memorandums and/or email correspondence with regard to production and project status reports.

Maintains production log entries to ensure completion of final product is accomplished in accordance to allowed timed.

Works with other Marketing department personnel as a team player assisting with other projects, as needed.

Takes action on and completes graphic design work on approved marketing plans, campaigns, and advertising concepts. Organizes priorities according to deadlines established by management.

Participates in and organizes, with marketing coordinator, meetings to discuss production schedule with appropriate Branch personnel.

Makes facility site visits on base to fully understand each MCCS program they are supporting and advertising for. Attends functions and events as assigned by management.

Prepares detailed after-action submission, analyzes results and makes recommendations for future events.
