About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Eisenhower Golf Course, Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does not include benefits.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 05/25/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience and knowledge of Golf Course Operations. Requires experience in dealing with the public. Experience in clerical, office, and retail sales store work.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems in order to make change when receiving payment from customers.

Must have strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

A Local Files Check (LFC) and National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) are required. This position is subject to furlough from 1 November to 31 March each year.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:

Checks on upcoming programs and tournaments at Eisenhower Golf Club daily. Performs daily transactions, which include the selling of greens fees, golf car fees, and golf shop merchandise.

Communicates the need to make change for the cash register drawer to the Pro Shop Assistant or the Operations Manager.

Performs end of day POS closing procedures, deposits funds, and assists in conducting end of the month inventory counts.

Daily replenishes stock as needed and daily assists in creating and maintaining attractive merchandise displays.

Assists in keeping the pro shop clean through necessary measures such as vacuuming, dusting, and the cleaning of windows. Assists in the cleaning and organization of all storage areas.

Insures that all patrons are in accordance with the dress code policy. Performs other related duties as assigned.
