Responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities, including but not limited to well drilling, casing and cementing processes, completion techniques, stimulation methods, and the management of production and formation pressures.
Additionally, the position addresses various products, storage solutions, coal resources, and the implementation of well plugging procedures.
The role also involves working with advanced oil and gas technologies, such as underground injection control wells, and tackling emerging subsurface energy challenges, including geothermal energy.
A key component of this position is the preparation, review, interpretation, and implementation of policies, procedures, manuals, standards, and regulations pertinent to the Bureau of Oil and Gas Planning and Program Management, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance in these areas.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
