Specialized experience is defined as: Experience performing geologic adequacy or suitability analyses of underground formations or storage of natural gas or oil.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Major Duties:
As a Geologist, some of your typical work assignments may include: Analyzing underground storage information and semi-annual storage reports filed by jurisdictional pipeline companies.
Planning and executing meetings with Commission staff, applicants, and other stakeholders.
Making written recommendations and writing letters, data requests, and Commission Orders that are technically sound and thoroughly researched.
