General Services Aide - Finance Division

The Office of the Attorney General has an immediate opening for a General Services Aide.

This position provides essential operational and facilities support to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

The Aide performs a wide variety of general, office, administrative, and facilities support tasks.

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to assist with any task necessary to support daily office operations.

This is a great opportunity for college students or others seeking part-time work in a professional office environment.

Pay Range: $12.16 – $19.82 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Picking up and delivering documents.
  • Collecting and distributing mail and supplies.
  • Maintaining and stocking shared office spaces (copy rooms, supply areas, kitchenettes).
  • Copying, scanning, and archiving documents.
  • Assisting with general office organization, filing, and recordkeeping.
  • Providing front desk coverage when administrative staff are unavailable (answering phone calls, greeting visitors, vehicle requests, parking validation).
  • Assisting with supply management.
  • Performing routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas (kitchenettes, refrigerators, microwave).
  • Installing, moving, and removing furniture in cubicles.
  • Collecting and disposing of recycling and trash.
  • Assisting with general facilities support.
  • Other duties as specified.

Additional Information

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver license required to drive a motor vehicle on a highway in this state per UCA53-3-202(1)(a).
  • Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (over 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
