Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an engineer for the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs to plan and manage facilities projects, ensuring they meet technical standards and safety requirements.
You'll develop long-term plans, evaluate design and cost issues, and guide teams through construction challenges.

In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-3 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer performing budgetary or technical management work to plan and execute facilities projects; managing facility planning or designs and construction document quality assurance; identifying and resolving design and construction deficiencies or contract deviations.
