This job involves working as an engineer expert in safely packaging, handling, storing, and transporting naval explosives and munitions, supporting Navy and Marine Corps programs from design to real-world use.
You'll help maintain standards, review tests and risks, and guide industry partners on these processes.

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER (Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation Subject Matter Expert) in the EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE ENGINEERING GROUP (SEA 05E); of NAVAL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE (SEA 05).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer designing Packaging, Handling, Storage, Transportation (PHST) tools, equipment, procedures or processes to support ordnance or munitions program.
