This job is for an assistant counsel role at the Navy Recruiting Command, where you'll provide legal advice, handle disputes, and represent the Navy in court and negotiations to support military recruiting efforts.

There is an anticipated vacancy for the position of Assistant Counsel, Navy Recruiting Command (NRC), Millington, TN .
The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze.

This position will be filled under the General Schedule (GS) pay scale at the GS-13 or 14 level, depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant, and will have a full performance level of GS-14.
To be eligible for selection at the GS-13 level, Your resume must demonstrate at least two years of recent and relevant professional legal experience.
To be eligible for selection at the GS-14 level, Your resume must demonstrate at least three-and-one-half years of recent and relevant professional legal experience.
Pay will be set commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and available funding.
