Summary

Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, NAF Support Division Automation, Rhine Ordnance Barracks.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.

Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Army's MWR mission, business, and accounting processes and be able to plan, organize, and direct work/project activities. 2.

Must possess excellent oral communication skills and have the ability to write concisely and accurately and prepare written briefings on assigned projects. 3.

Work experience must include technical knowledge of automated applications, security requirements, and the ability to prepare written briefings and conduct oral presentations. 4.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and direct work/project activities.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.

At least 1 year of experience as a Functional Administrator or Functional Technology Specialist utilizing the RecTrac and/or CYMS database management systems, including account management, point-of-sale configuration, transcode setup, and inventory management.

2. Possess a working knowledge of Family and MWR with at least 3 years of experience in the Family and MWR Business or Recreation Division(s). 3. Knowledge of CaterEase and FoodTrac applications.

  • Performs duties in the delivery of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Management Information Systems (MIS) at a major command level.
  • Responsible for integrating automated applications into all aspects of MWR operations, which may include Recreation, Business, Army Community Services, Support Services and Child, Youth and School Services.
  • Works closely with program managers to assist in developing and implementing procedures and actions to support automated programs.
  • Serves as liaison for MWR MIS applications among G-9 program managers/Division Chiefs/Director MWR/Garrison Information Services Officer.
  • Identifies, coordinates, and conducts MIS training allowing users at all levels to maintain proficiency and fully utilize applications.
