You will serve as a FOREIGN MILITARY SPECIALIST in the COSTING DIVISION of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT. Salary Range for GS-09: $61,722 - $65,599. Salary Range for GS-11: $74,678 - $97,087.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing spreadsheets to organize financial data and prepare reports; 2) Interpreting data and instructions related to policies and regulations to perform cost analysis; 3) Utilizing financial software applications for projects or studies.
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting cost analysis studies that apply complex regulations such as Security Cooperation regulations (e.g., DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)); 2) Providing feedback to stakeholders on financial discrepancies; 3) Using Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Access for complex analysis (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and business transactions and reimbursement vouchers; 4) Utilizing laws, regulations, and policies, to include personnel, fiscal and security cooperation guidance in a complex and multi-mission organization.
