About the position: This position will be assigned to The Hub at Peterson Space Force Base located in Colorado Springs.

This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to continuously stand, walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push pull, and bend for long periods of time. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: No prior experience is required. Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions.

Major Duties:

Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators.) Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware in dishwashing area.

Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums, and shampoos carpets.

Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. Sorts, washes, peel and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Performs other related duties as assigned.
