Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must be able to follow simple oral instructions. Be able to use hand tools for cleaning. and operate simple machines.
Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgment in sequencing tasks.
Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. Must be physically able to frequently lilt or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop. Reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time.
Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Subject to satisfactory completion of National Agency Check.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Performs duties which include, but are not limited to. the following: sets up server line/equipment and expos all food to be delivered to customers.
Prepares minor made-to-order food items such as frozen pizzas, wings. nachos depending on work location. Performs cash handling and ensures items are put into POS appropriately.
takes payment, answers phone for to go orders, expos and delivers food to customers. stocks and replenishes food items and beverages and supplies as needed throughout the day and at end of shift.
Cleans and maintains all counters and equipment throughout the day to ensure sanitary conditions. Wipes down all tables, chairs, and sweeps floors around tables as needed throughout the shift.
Also cleans under and behind equipment, kitchen utensils, equipment, and washes serving floors and walls, wipes down beverage areas and equipment, inside of coolers. freezers. sanitizes garbage cans.
