About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center o Nellis AFB, Nevada.
Regular Part Time employees are guaranteed 20 hours per week but may work up to 34 hours per week. This position does offer benefits.
Ability lift/move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, occasionally over with assistance. Ability to stand/walk/stoop/reach/push/bend for long periods of time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines.
Major Duties:
Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments, and cold menu items (e.g., salad, dessert, bread, and cold beverages) on a serving line. Removes dishes and trays from tables.
Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators).
Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses, and silverware.
Washes tables and counters, vacuums, and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes wall, and cleans and sanitizes trashcans.
Sorts, washes, peels, and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables in accordance with approved guidelines for established menu for children.
Ensures children receive foods in proper portions as outlined in the food program guidelines.
Assists cooks in food preparation by weighing, measuring, and assembling ingredients according to standard recipes.
