Requirements
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking large quantities of food in accordance with menu guidelines. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, as you will need to adhere to recipes, accommodate modified diets, manage supply orders, and ensure proper food preparation and compliance with established standards. Additionally, you will instruct volunteers, package bulk food items, monitor food temperatures, operate kitchen equipment, clean dishes, uphold sanitation standards, attend training sessions, engage in tray line activities, and perform other related tasks as necessary.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overnight travel may be required
- Work hours include irregular hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in food preparation or service; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
