This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health Crafts-Farrow, 7901 Farrow Rd, Columbia, SC 29203.
As the Food Service Specialist IV / Trayline Supervisor you will work under the Trayline Manager and/or Area Managers supervising assigned staff in operation of the trayline, plating & portioning areas in compliance with department, local, state, and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities for the Food Service Specialist IV:Supervise the maintenance of records for inventories, quality control, quality assurance, sanitation check list, temperature, charts, and all other records necessary for the operation of the trayline area.
Maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards compliance in all work areas.
Post hire, employees must:
Possess a strong knowledge of cafeteria style/mass food service operation, customer service application, and safe handling of food.
Have ability to supervise and lead staff in meeting required food production and solve problems that arise, general working knowledge of food service equipment.
