This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.
The purpose of the position is to instruct and perform flight crew work supporting heavy multi engine aircraft, and to provide assistance to the pilot in the overall operation of the aircraft.
General Experience: Must have the following General Experience(s); Understanding of the occupation's basic principles and concepts One year on-the-job experience in the grade (or a comparable military rank) Mandatory Qualification Requirements: Military ratings in the main-frame military aircraft of employment Specialized Experience: Must have 36 months of experience in the following; Instructing crew chiefs in one or more of the following main-frame/military aircraft; Fixed-wing Rotary Remotely piloted aircraft Training and instructing others in the crew of a specified main-frame military aircraft Supervising and/or conducting mission planning, mission preparations, filing of flight plans, and conducting crew briefings Planning, scheduling, and conducting training flights through Federal Aviation Administration controlled national airspace Conducting particular missions and crewing specific main-frame aircraft in combat tactics Flying in mountainous terrain Performing tactical remote site evaluations Performing landings on remote sites Provide ground and flight training Conducting night-vision operations or instructions Must have two (2) years of experience in one of the following programs: Civilian aviation program Military service aviation program (active duty or reserve components) Army National Guard Aviation Support facility Air National Guard Wing/ Operations Group Required Flight Hours: 500 hours total military rotary wing flying time Major Duties:
