Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Department of Public Health’s Parent-Child Program is seeking a Project/Program Manager IV (First Steps Program Manager).
This program manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the programmatic and operational aspects of the following programs within the Parent Child Health (PCH) section of CHS, in addition to others as needed: First Steps – Maternity Support Services/Infant Case Management (MSS/ICM); and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN), Nurse-Family Partnership program administration.
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate experience, knowledge, and skills in program and project management, quality improvement, and communications.
They will ensure the work within each of these programs is aligned with CHS's priorities, with particular focus on pregnant and parenting individuals, children, and families.

Community Health Services ensures the provision of clinical health care services in King County through policy and planning work with partners, as well as the direct provision of clinical services.
CHS include Parent-Child Health services, preventive and Primary Care services, oral health services, homeless healthcare, and youth health services.

Work Schedule
Typical schedule for this position is between the hours of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (to be determined with candidate and supervisor). This is an exempt position and is not subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not overtime eligible.
Remote and Onsite Work
The First Steps team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is Chinook Building, located at 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
The individual selected for this opportunity will join an innovative and progressive team that is redefining how we work as we transition to the department's hybrid environment.
Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
