This job is for a senior fire safety officer at a military base in South Carolina, where you'll lead a team in responding to emergencies like aircraft crashes, building fires, vehicle accidents, and hazardous material spills, while also training others and preventing fires.
It involves hands-on firefighting, supervising shifts, and maintaining equipment around the clock.

Must meet all special requirements for Fire Safety Officers I/II/III.
Must be able to meet the professional qualifications required by NFPA 1001 for Firefighter I/II; and NFPA 1072 as Hazmat Awareness/Operations/Technician; NREMR or NREMT, Fire Officer I, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I/II, Incident Safety Officer (ISO): Candidates are required to pass an annual medical examination to determine their physical ability to perform the job in accordance with National Fire Protection Standard 1582, Standards on Medical Requirements for Firefighters.
