Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Experience utilizing accounting systems, policies and procedures to examine and verify reconciled accounts.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will serve as an FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in O/MNR BUDGET DIVISION (N81), DCOS FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE (N8), at Commander, Navy Reserve Force (COMNAVRESFOR).
  • You will examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data.
  • You will utilize accounting systems, standard accounting codes, classifications and terminology.
  • You will handle the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items.
  • You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of document and compliance with regulations of goods and services.
  • You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintaining ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.
  • You will prepare and analyze budget and funding reports.
