This job involves handling day-to-day financial tasks for the Sheriff's Office, such as paying bills, managing purchase orders, tracking expenses, and preparing reports to keep the budget on track.

Salary to commensurate with qualifications
The Sheriff’s Office provides public safety at all times and therefore every position is deemed essential. All positions are in-person and not eligible for remote work. Every position is also subject to recall based on the needs of the Office to keep the community safe.
This position has an anticipated work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, subject to change.

Coordinates and performs manual and computerized bookkeeping activities in accordance with established procedures.
Maintains accounts payables and receivables, processes purchase orders, prepares financial reports to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations and assists with annual budget preparation.
Duties are primarily performed in an office environment. Occasional overtime on weeknights and/or weekends may be necessary.
