About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U. S.

CYBER COMMAND, FORT MEADE, MD. CYBER EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITIONS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE TWO-PAGE RESUME LIMIT.

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Supervising a financial management team, 2) Providing advice on the implementation of acquisitioning directives, AND 3) Establishing manpower, budget, and accounting requirements for an organization.

Major Duties:

  • Serve as the Director, Acquisition Financial Management Division under the Command Acquisition Executive and J9 Acquisition and Technology Directorate.
  • Direct the functions of budgeting, programming, and acquisition financial management oversight, review and analysis.
  • Share external representational duties with the Command Acquisition Executive on various committees, boards, working groups, and other intra- and inter-agency forums.
  • Establish annual, multi-year, and long-range forecasts and plans for manpower, budget and accounting requirements.
  • Plan work to be accomplished by employees, setting, and adjusting short-term to long-range (e.g., multiple year) priorities.
