Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-05 for GS-07, GS-07 for GS-09 and GS-09 for GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience for the GS-07 grade level is defined as: applying financial laws, principles, systems, policies, methods, and practices to provide routine technical guidance to managers, employees and/or customers; or researching financial policies and laws to resolve common financial issues.
Specialized experience for the GS-09 grade level is defined as: researching and interpreting financial regulations, policies and laws to provide substantive recommendations and advice to managers; or analyzing and evaluating reports and data from financial systems to identify issues and discrepancies.
Specialized experience for the GS-11 grade level is defined as: analyzing financial and accounting operations to recommend process improvements; or monitoring and evaluating financial systems to identify weaknesses and ensure compliance with internal controls; or analyzing the impact of applicable laws and regulations on an organizations financial policies, operations and systems, and recommending changes to maintain compliance.
Time-in-Grade for GS-07: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-05 or higher grade in Federal Service.
Time-in-Grade for GS-09: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-07 or higher grade in Federal Service.
Time-in-Grade for GS-11: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or higher grade in Federal Service.
** The effective date of your SF-50 must reflect that you will meet the 52-week time in grade requirement within 30 days of the announcement closing.
