Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing budgets for the Navy's shipbuilding command, including planning how to spend money, tracking expenses, and using financial systems to process payments.
You'll help prepare budget proposals for the President and advise on fund allocation as needs change.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in government finance who enjoys analyzing numbers and communicating with teams to keep projects on track.
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Management Branch, SEA 10 Corporate Operations & Total Force Directorate of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing financial management analysis (e.g., budget planning and formulation, monitoring obligations and expenditures, or executing funding in DON systems of record) for an organization.
