Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping college students and their families navigate financial aid options, including applying for grants, loans, and scholarships, while ensuring all rules are followed.
The specialist manages student aid packages, processes paperwork, and supports appeals for those who face issues with their academic progress.
It's a great fit for someone with a bachelor's degree who enjoys working directly with people in an educational setting and has some experience in higher education finance.
Packages assigned students with federal, state, and institutional aid and loans. Responsible for determining students' eligibility and making awards.
Reviews assigned student files to ensure all federal, state, and institutional regulatory requirements are met.
Responsible for the management, development, documentation, and reporting of all assigned student financial aid programs.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and experience.
Higher education financial aid experience preferred.
